Hiya Gaielle,

I just got your comment thanks, I added you to my blogroll and yep today I will be adding the video to my blog.

It does actually say http://www.marketingwithyou.com on it, once I read your post In fear of dread I went back and watched it as I thought I had missed it off, LOL

With the pagerank issue we are on a different pages, I wasn’t talking about the position in the search for a keyword, there is the google toolbar which indicates your page rank, for a year I held a page rank of 1 then just recently it went up to a 2, then about a week ago it dropped down to 0 :-( but really after tonnes of reading I found that the google pagerank toolbar really isn’t that accurate.

It’s back to blog hopping for now.

I am also having a real problem viewing your videos, and I know its only me as I have asked a couple of people, when I load your page I can see the vids loading, then once the page is fully loaded they dissapear. I have seen a few videos this morning some were really fantastic.

Take Care

Tara

Hey Gaielle,

Just wanted to say thanks for posting all these videos in one place. This makes it so much easier to follow what Alex’ students are doing rather than searching on Youtube for them all.

There are definetly some interesting ones.

Thanks again,
Jeff Sargent

Hi Tara (another Aussie, eh?) I’m sorry to have put you through that. I must have turned my head at the wrong moment. I watched it throught o the end, but it was at the beginning after all. I’ll put it up on my pages. When the page loads for me, the videos flash momentarily on the screen and then they disappear while they are loading. Depending on the memory, the load time can vary with several movies loading at once. You may find that if you put the kettle on for a cuppa, they would reappear by the time you got back.

That’s worth knowing - about the google pagerank toolbar. I don’t get any rank at all on the toolbar - not even zero! Gaielle

Hi Gaille,

What a good idea to put all the videos in one place. There are some brilliant ones aren’t there?

I see how you keep so slim - pole dancing, eh?

I note next to my video it says “wordpress would not insert this link?”. That could be because my site is http://www.jeansmenopausalmoment.com/BLOG. Wordpress is on the blog bit.

Keep up the good work.

Best wishes

Jean

Hello Jean! I’ll get that link fixed for you right now! I’m not one to pole dance usually, heehee! Never done it before, but I had a go! Not exactly comfortable with a square pole. Cheers, Gaielle

Hi Gaielle,
Thank you for posting all of our videos on your site. What a great idea and it brings traffic to your site, as well.

Just goes to show that when you think of others first, you benefit too.

Your comment was much appreciated, btw.

One of the plugin ideas I borrowed from Gary Simpson is the one for the collapsable links. I have 89 of our classmates links in my blogroll, but it doesn’t take up any more space than two lines when it’s “rolled up”.

The plug in is available on Gary’s site or you can visit my blog and find it at the top of the My Tools &Tips under Plugins

All the best,
Theresa

Hi, you did find the video for the competition, first one ever produced. Found it hard to keep below 10mins lol, managed to have 4 seconds to spare in the end.

Blog address is quoted on the summary page at the end of the video and I also give the name verbally at the end and also mention at the beginning too. To alter anything now would mean doing the whold ruddy thing again and to say the least do not fancy doing that.

Hi Theresa. Thanks for your kind comments. I did indeed want the “collapsable links” plug-in. I’ve downloaded it now, but it doesn’t want to work on my template. Apparently Garry had some issues in the beginning and communicated with the plug-in creator. I need to look into it more when time permits. Cheers, Gaielle

Hi Gaielle,
Thanks so much for the encouraging words about my video and letting me know about the opt-in not working. . The opt-in is fixed. So you can now sign-up for my free e-book on Video Infomercials.

I appreciate so much what you are doing here showcasing our classmate videos. I am looking forward to watching them all. There is so much to learn from each other. That is a great benefit from this group in itself.
Talk to you soon,
Rob

Hi Gaielle, thanks for the comment on my blog. I left a response to you if you care to check it out. I’m grateful that you put all of the videos here for all to see, I’ve received plenty of hits because of your site.

I missed the boat getting on most everyones blogroll so I’ve had to step it up on getting traffic on my own and letting other Alex Jeffreys students find me.

While everyone is busy posting comments to blogs, I’ve been busy creating my own products and maybe thats part of the reason why my video has so many hits. If offers information that is valuable and free. Thats the two most compelling reasons people get your stuff. I set it up to be a list building platform so I’ll see where that goes.

I really like your blog layout and the fact you have audio means you are up to speed with current trends. I’m still trying to get mine to have audio and video downloads in the future. No audio plugin will work with my theme so I might have to use another or outsource the whole thing.

Great job and keep it up.

Hi Michael, I think you are a front-runner amongst the Alex Jeffreys students. You are one of the few (that I’ve seen anyway) who has followed the path laid out by our fearless leader/mentor. It’s not about hard-selling, it’s about giving, sharing and building trust. I’m truly grateful for your input and I will continue to visit your blog for your priceless info. You are a pro. I am a fan. I take my hat off to you. Gaielle

Hey, Dave - thanks. Did you watch the video all the way through. The final 60 seconds is a film clip I made of me attempting to pole dance! I’ve already loaded your video to the showcase. Good one! Cheers, Gaielle

Hi Rob, I was possibly the first to sign up for your book! I am a trained actor/producer and I am excited to learn the art of video making for business and pleasure. My video was my first ever attempt, but I WILL improve. I see my future in video marketing with a twist. Stay tuned. Hurry up and release your book, please, please! It’s prceisely what I’ve been looking for. Your video was an “AHAAA!” moment for me. Well done. Cheers, Gaielle
